Shirin Ebadi

Hi,
Today I'm going to write about a woman that she struggle  to obtain the peace. This woman is Shirin Ebadi and she is one of the strongest woman in the world.

The lawyer Shirin Ebadi was Iran's first female judge. After Khomeini's revolution in 1979 she was dismissed. Ebadi opened a legal practice and began defending people who were being persecuted by the authorities. In the year 2000 she was imprisoned herself for having criticized her country's hierocracy.

Shirin Ebadi took up the struggle for fundamental human rights and especially the rights of women and children. She took part in the establishment of organizations that placed these issues on the agenda, and wrote books proposing amendments to Iran's succession and divorce laws. She also wanted to withdraw political power from the clergy and advocated the separation of religion and state.

No only this, she also wrote many books like for example: Criminal Laws, Tehran 1972. Published by Bank Melli of Iran, he Rights of the Child; A study in the legal aspects of children's rights in Iran, 1987 or The Rights of Women, Tehran, 2002. The amazingest thing is that the peace nobel prize in sony the only prize she has get. She also have an official Human Rights Watch observer, 1996, The selection of The Rights of the Child as Book of the Year by the Culture and Islamic Guidance Ministry and last but of course no list the  Recipient of the Rafto Human Rights Foundation prize for human rights activities, Norway 2001.

I decided to speak about this woman because she has struggle because of her rights and the rifts of women and children's. She is one of the strongest woman for me together with other people who's also struggle to get the things they want.  People like this woman makes me thought that things can change if you force a lot. This woman is going to be a small part of my to forward  and I hope also is going to be yours.
